Restore One held its first gala on October 10 at the Greenville Hilton to raise funds for its first shelter, The Anchor House. The shelter, to be opened in 2014, will be the first of its kind in the U.S. for its focus on male sex trafficking victims.
Dr. Dan Allender, the guest speaker said, “This shelter is actually the first of its kind. In the future, Greenville, a relatively unknown town will become a beacon and an example for other organizations seeking to do this in the future.”
The gala was featured front page in the local paper, The Daily Reflector.
Restore One president Chris Smith said, ” we were told to expect 150 people for our first gala. We have over 400 tonight.”
